Our programs

provide primary health care services to the
community, particularly individuals at greatest risk, through –

·       HIV testing services

·       TB and STI screening

·       Testing for high blood pressure and blood glucose

·       Social mobilisation

·        Distributing condoms and demonstrating their use

·       Promoting medical male circumcision

·       Fighting stigma through AIDS awareness activities in the broader community

 

Focus
on Key population:

 

People who use Drugs program:

The objectives of the program are to:

  1.  Prevent new infections of HIV, TB and
    hepatitis infections in people who use drugs.
  2. Improve the 90 90
    90 health outcomes for people who inject drugs through combination
    prevention.
  3. Improve access to
    drug treatment for people who inject drugs to support HIV prevention and
    improve quality of life.
  4. Reduce human
    rights, social and structural barriers to HIV, Hepatitis and TB
    prevention, care and impact among people who inject drugs.
  5. Strengthen
    advocacy for people who inject drugs programming in South Africa.

 

People
who use drugs  and people who inject
drugs  are  provided with information and education, safe
injecting equipment, peer education, and 
are mobilised for the uptake of biomedical, psychosocial and human
rights services with applicable referrals this is to help
Prevent new infections
of HIV, TB and hepatitis infections in people who inject drugs.
